Brief Introduction - My name is Peter Arnold. By profession, I'm a Business Consultant, a Financial Advisor, an Entrepreneurial Coach and a Franchise Owner. I have had a private practice for over 20-years, specializing mainly with health care professionals. I also own a couple of Internet businesses. My lovely wife (and very best friend), Mary Ann, is a Registered Nurse, with her certification in gerentology, having had 15-years experience as a wound care resource nurse at her facility.

In 1995, Business Achievers Academy was founded and a short time later, we established Wellness Achievers Academy. These are both divisions of AcademyGroupOnline.com (see at the bottom).

Health Practice Advisors - Also we are members of Health Practice Advisors, who specialize in helping wellness professionals improve their practice revenues - with less stress - without any large capital investment - for a better lifestyle. Location- We recently moved from Atlantic Canada to Toronto (Thornhill), Ontario. We are blessed with two wonderful sons [Stephen, a business executive in Sydney, Australia and Graham, a writer and teacher in Toronto] and two lovely daughters-in-law [Stephanie, an MBA & Engineer, and Yuko, a Pediatric RN].

Twins! - When we learned that we were about to become "grandparents" for the first time (twin baby girls! :>), we made one of the largest decisions in our lives - to sell our home in Nova Scotia and move to Toronto, in order to be closer to our expanding family. This was extremely difficult for us, as it meant leaving behind "everything" after 35+ years - our dear friends, clients, business associates, doctor, dentist, naturopath, chiropractor and many other important connections. But for us, "family" is everything, so we simply started again, step-by-step - developing brand new connections here.

Our Passion - Mary Ann and I both have a personal passion for achieving WELLNESS, ideally through "prevention". We believe in the power of exercise, good nutrition, natural supplementation and "alternative" health options - as opposed to treating SICKNESS [from medication] through expensive and often toxic DRUGS - with their inevitable side effects.

Our wellness is in OUR hands, and great health is a decision that requires action on OUR part. It will not happen by accident. Our wellness is our OWN personal choice and responsibility. We have ONE body to do all that we want to DO in this life - we get only ONE chance.

TOTAL Wellness - Mary Ann and I believe we can only achieve "complete" WELLNESS when our physical, emotional, spiritual and financial well-being are in 'harmony' - enabling us to achieve our life purposes ... wellness in mind, body, spirit and finances. We believe that vibrant health, financial abundance, time freedom and peace of mind - IN BALANCE - TOGETHER = our total WELL-BEING.

On HEALTH CARE - Aside from the much needed (traditional) care in emergencies, crisis, and life threatening situations - the Holistic Wellness profession goes that "extra mile" for its patients - including "prevention" + a "whole person" approach + recommending only of safe, natural, deep science-based products / remedies / treatments.

Secret - But there's a deeper "secret" which is at the very foundation of our wellness and well-being => real health and healing comes from WITHIN.

We’ve each been gifted with our own doctor "inside" of us. Even the world renowned medical missionary doctor (and Noble prize winner) Albert Schweitzer said -- “Each patient carries his own doctor within him. The patients come to us not knowing that truth. We are at our best when we give the doctor that resides within each patient the chance to go to work.”

This concept - of having an inner healing ability - and giving one’s inner doctor what it needs - guided by caring, expert, dedicated practitioners - is truly what HOLISTIC health care is all about.
